About the seats
-
These seats are on the outside, south of the start/finish line and north
of the scoring pylon with a great view of the straight and the pits.
-
They are covered in the event of weather problems
-
They are at the top row of the bottom section, so it is easy to "step
into" the seats without bothering fans on either side.
-
There is a good view of a big screen on the inside of the track
-
You can get some perspective of the seats by looking at my pictures from
2008 or
2010

About Indy 500 tickets
These are our
family's tickets which we purchase from the Indianapolis Motorspeedway (IMS)
each year. Although we really enjoy these seats we have acquired other
tickets for this year to try a different vantage point. IMS has strict
re-selling policies that if not followed we would lose our ability to renew
these tickets. This is the reason you will not find a picture of the
tickets here. Here is what the IMS Ticket Office says:
Dear Mr.
Harm,
You may
sell you tickets as long as you sell them for face value as you
mentioned. If you advertise on e-bay we ask you do not take a
picture of the ticket. If you follow these simple guidelines you
would not be jeopardizing your renewal opportunities.
If you have any
question regarding their policy or the validity of my family holding these
tickets, you can contact the IMS Ticket office at
tickets@brickyard.com.
